Helping the Helpers

Family Service of Rhode Island—FSRI—is the state’s third-largest employer, and helps thousands of people with a wide variety of social services. Every year, they honor key supporters at a gala, and wanted a fresh approach to infuse it with new vigor.

We created a series of videos illustrating the chain of support that extends from lawmakers to service recipients., and a child-centered introduction to the honoree.

When FSRI’s Director of Communications left, we stepped in to keep things running smoothly while they searched for a replacement.

We devised an editorial calendar to support key business objectives, designed ad templates and robust viewbooks, created extensive social media content, and much, much more, setting the stage for a new communications director to come in and run hard from day one.

We designed a viewbook that offers a bird’s-eye-view of the whole organization, dives deep into major program areas, and makes it clear to readers how they can help by sharing their time, money, or talent.
