There’s no place like home

Because most people are familiar with the “nightly shelter” model, where people are given a place to sleep in a group setting, they can struggle to understand just how innovative Lucy’s Hearth is.

At Lucy’s Hearth, people are given a private room—with a door that locks—that has bunks, closets, a kitchenette, and comes fully-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, linens, and more. Families can stay together in a safe environment, and Lucy’s staff provide courses on parenting, nutrition, financial management, resume-writing and more. They help clients set up job interviews, provide transportation and child care, and even help them establish a payment history so they can secure a place to live on their own.

And when people leave, the pots, pans, linens, and other necessities go with them so they can begin living as soon as they’re home.

Welcome!  What can we do for ya? →

Lucy’s Hearth asked us to introduce people to the breadth of services they offer—and the powerful impact on people’s lives.

Viewbook

To support fundraising staff making a case to prospective donors, we designed a beautiful, engaging viewbook that captivates people’s attention and walks them through the challenges clients face; the solutions Lucy’s Hearth provides; and the ways donors, volunteers, and prospective employees can contribute.

What’s on your mind?

Have a problem you’d like to bounce off us? Or maybe you’re not even sure what to ask. That’s fine too, we’re happy to spend a few minutes talking through the opportunities and challenges you’re contending with and offer some insights on how to tackle them.

How can we help?

If you’ve come this far, something’s on your mind. Drop us a line and we’ll make time to discuss whatever that is. Maybe we can help with it. Maybe we can suggest a new way to apply your internal team to the problem. Or we can make an appropriate referral. At the very least, we’ll both make a new connection.
